Jazz Coffee event for jazz musicians on December 10.

The Finnish Jazz Federation invites everyone to an open Jazz Coffee event at the Maissi meeting room of the Helsinki Cultural Center Caisa on December 10, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

The Jazz Coffee discussion will focus on the near-future outlook for public funding in the arts and culture sector, as well as the upcoming Jazz in Finland 100 anniversary year (2026).

The Jazz Federation warmly welcomes all musicians to join the conversation over coffee and light refreshments. In particular, the Federation is eager to hear thoughts and ideas regarding the activities planned for the anniversary year, as well as to discuss the priorities of the Federation’s current strategic period in light of potential cuts to public funding. However, attendees are welcome to bring up any topic for discussion!
