Finnish Jazz Federation Participates in Music X Media – Theme: The Growing Demand for Responsibility

4.10.2024

In collaboration with Music X Media and the LuoTo project, the Finnish Jazz Federation and Elma.live are organizing a discussion event as part of Music X Media’s Music & Future theme day on Friday, October 4, 2024. A diverse group of art and culture funders will participate in the discussion.

The Growing Demand for Responsibility and How to Address It

Responsibility and sustainability are becoming increasingly integral to all activities in the music industry. Additionally, user-friendly and free tools designed to help operators develop and report on their responsibility efforts will be presented.

Participants in the discussion include representatives from the Arts Promotion Centre Finland, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Creative Europe program, and the Music Promotion Foundation.

Participants:

Riitta Kaivosoja, Director General, Ministry of Education and Culture
Riikka Koivula, Program Specialist, Creative Europe program

Tommi Saarikivi, CEO, Music Promotion Foundation

The event will be held on October 4th from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, moderated by Leo Stranius, CEO of Third Rock Finland.

The three-day Music X Media will be held in Tampere from October 2–4, 2024. News about the Growing Demand for Responsibility discussion event and other new program announcements can be found on the Music X Media website here.
