Finnish Jazz Federation at Jazzahead! April 23–24

The jazz industry’s largest professional event and showcase festival, Jazzahead!, will once again take place in Bremen, Germany, from April 22–25. Finland will be represented at the joint Nordic Clubnight by accordion artist Harri Kuusijärvi.

The Finnish Jazz Federation will participate in Jazzahead! from the Music Finland stand, sharing information about the Finnish jazz scene as well as initiatives such as Jazz Finland Residency and JazzCamp for Girls.

Finnish Jazz Federation at Jazzahead!

Fri 24 Apr, 10:00–11:30 / Musicians’ Meeting
The Finnish Jazz Federation will take part in an informal gathering at the Schlachthof cultural centre, aimed at sharing information and expanding networks among jazz musicians across borders. The event is organized by JazzDanmark.

Fri 24 Apr, 12:00 / Nordic at Noon
The Finnish Jazz Federation will participate in the now traditional Nordic at Noon gathering at the exhibition hall, within the Nordic stands area.

Fri 24 Apr, 19:00 / Nordic Clubnight: Harri Kuusijärvi (FI)
At the joint Nordic Clubnight, held for the second time, Finland will be represented by accordion artist Harri Kuusijärvi. The Clubnight takes place at the Lagerhaus cultural centre.
