Finnish Jazz Federation at Jazzahead! April 24–26

The largest professional event and showcase festival in the jazz world, Jazzahead!, will once again take place in Bremen, Germany, from April 24 to 26. Representing Finland at the first-ever Nordic Clubnight is PEELA, a band that skillfully blends jazz, funk rock, and neo-soul.

Finnish Jazz Federation will be participating in Jazzahead! at the Music Finland booth, sharing information about the Finnish jazz scene as well as various initiatives such as Jazz Finland Residency, Better Live, Nordic Jazz Comets, and JazzCamp for Girls.

Maria Silvennoinen will take part in a panel discussion focusing on the opportunities of international collaboration in jazz education, highlighting the JazzCamp for Girls initiative.

Fri 25.4. at 10:30–12:00 / Musicians’ Meeting
Finnish Jazz Federation will join this informal event organized by JazzDanmark, aiming to promote knowledge exchange and networking among jazz musicians across borders.

Fri 25.4. at 12:00 / Nordic at Noon
Finnish Jazz Federation will participate in this traditional gathering of Nordic representatives at the exhibition hall among the Nordic booths.

Fri 25.4. at 21:10 / Nordic Clubnight: PEELA (FI)
During the first-ever Nordic Clubnight, Finland will be represented by PEELA, a group drawing influence from jazz, funk rock, and neo-soul.
