Bremen’s annual Jazzahead! expo is here again on April 27–30! We will celebrate the International Jazz Day wearing blue and white at the Music Finland exhibition stand, and share information on our current international projects, such as the Nordic Jazz Comets, Constellations, JazzCamp For Girls and On The Rails.

Finnish Jazz Federation (Jazz Finland) is proud to present and participate in the following international events:

  • May 11–12: Maja Mannila’s showcase at the Nordic Jazz Comets event in Stockholm & Gävle;
  • June 26–July 6: Kaisa’s Machine on an Euro train tour by On The Rails project;
  • July 7–10: JazzCamp For Girls at Pori Jazz festival.

In the fall season 2023 we welcome artist-activist Frederike Berendsen to Finland as part of the European Constellations project & network. Mutually, our Finnish talent, bassist Kaisa Mäensivu will visit a residency program in Italy. Also our own invitational program, Jazz Finland Residency, continues to welcome international, established jazz artists in fall 2023.
