Jazz Camp for Girls in Turku, July 28–31.

The popular Jazz Camp for Girls returns this summer as part of the Turku Sea Jazz festival during the last week of July.

The camp program takes place at the Turku Conservatory (Linnankatu 60, Turku) from Monday, July 28 to Wednesday, July 30, from 10 AM to 2 PM. On Thursday, July 31, the activities move to the Forum Marinum Maritime Centre, where the final concert will be held at 1 PM. In the concert, the participants will have the chance to showcase the skills they’ve learned to an audience on the Turku Sea Jazz stage. The language of instruction at the camp is Finnish.

The Turku camp is organized in collaboration by Jazz City Turku, the Turku Conservatory, and the Finnish Jazz Federation. In 2025, Jazz Camp for Girls is supported by the Nordic Culture Fund, the Finnish Music Foundation (MES), and the Ministry of Education and Culture through a special grant for innovative children’s culture initiatives.
